In 2007 I upped and dragged my bags to the University of East Anglia and left in 2010 with a 2.1 in Film and English.

Turning into something of a brick wall after graduation (though, not deliberately, mind you) - prospective employers said 'you need more experience', so I went on to gain it in the media and editorial field through various internships and freelance gigs for film websites and student magazines.

With enough work under my belt that initial resistance soon turned to 'you're hired!'

For six years I worked for What Hi-Fi?, the #1 brand in hi-fi and home cinema. There I started in the cavernous and dusty stockroom before rising up and joining the editorial and production team.

My main interest is film, about which I maintain a film blog about, and have also written about sport, technology and travel. I’m experienced across magazine and web publishing, am proficient with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign and worked with Drupal, Sitecore and Wordpress CMS.
